Figures as of November 2026
Can an agency sell tickets on its own branded website?
Yes. Each agency or brand gets its own booking website with its own domain, logo, colors and font, where travelers search voyages, pick seats and pay.
- Own favicon and site name for each brand
- Vessel layout shows free seats, booked seats and each seat class
- ID card scan pre-fills passengers; voucher codes apply at booking
- Customer accounts separated per organization, never shared across websites
- Receiving bank account and cancellation rules come from agency settings

How do travelers book inside Zalo and Telegram?
Travelers book inside Zalo or Telegram with a Mini App that follows the same search, seat and payment flow and shares the website's booking system, fares and operators.
- Zalo: ZaloPay or banking app payment; silent sign-in with granted permission
- Telegram: transfer QR, OnePay or wallet; sign in with Telegram or email
- Telegram opens at t.me/ferryvnbot/app, web version at tg.ferry.vn
- Home screen has quick-select routes and tabs: My tickets, Support, Account
- Bot @ferryvnbot answers common questions and offers a Book button

How do travelers pay and get their ticket?
Travelers pay by VietQR, bank transfer, card through OnePay, at the counter or from wallet. Once the payment matches, the system sends the issuance request to the operator automatically, including outside office hours*.
- Transfers carry a time-limited confirmation code, 30 minutes by default
- Reconciled on the transfer message; a repeated transaction counts once
- Operator rejects the ticket: held funds returned
- Transfer too small: amount goes to wallet, traveler asked to top up
- Operators without automated issuance: staff issue by hand

How do travelers receive tickets, cancel and get refunds?
When a ticket is issued, travelers get an email or Zalo ZNS notification and download the e-ticket from their account. To cancel, they send a request; the refund goes to their wallet.
- Email sent through the SMTP server the agency configures
- Zalo ZNS reminds unpaid orders and thanks travelers after the trip
- Cancellation fees by operator and hours; agency can block late cancellations
- Approval runs from sub-agent to parent agency; travelers track or withdraw
- Orders that used a voucher must be cancelled in full

Where does an agency set up branding, domain and payment?
In the Settings menu of the B2B Dashboard: the agency sets appearance, domain, payment, notifications and cancellation rules, then clicks Save settings. No source code to edit.
- Appearance tab: square and horizontal logo, favicon, font, primary color
- Subdomain in the slug.ferry.vn form; attach your own domain
- Payment tab: receiving account for VietQR, SMS Banking, OnePay
- Email, Zalo ZNS, cancellation fees per operator, order payment deadline
- Vouchers by percentage or fixed amount, created under Fees and promotions

Frequently asked questions
What does an agency need for a branded booking website?
The agency sends a request through the contact page to discuss scope, domain and timeline. Ferry VN builds a separate website with the agency's own domain, logo, favicon, primary color and font.
Which payment methods can travelers use?
On the web: VietQR, bank transfer, card through OnePay, at the counter or wallet. Zalo Mini App: ZaloPay or a banking app. Telegram Mini App: transfer QR, OnePay or wallet. OnePay only appears once the agency has enabled it.
Is the ticket issued right after payment?
For operators connected to automated issuance, the system sends the issuance request as soon as the payment arrives, with no staff on duty*. Other operators hand the order to staff to issue by hand; the ticket and notifications go out after that.
What if someone else buys the seat first?
Ferry VN cannot hold a seat in advance with the operator, so a seat belongs to the traveler only once the operator issues the ticket. If the seat was taken, the system reports an error, returns the held funds and the traveler picks another seat.
How do travelers receive their tickets?
Travelers download the e-ticket on the website or Mini App. If the agency has enabled notifications, an email and a Zalo ZNS message go out when the ticket is issued. Zalo ZNS needs a Zalo API code; Ferry VN helps with registration and setup.
How do travelers cancel and get a refund?
Travelers send a cancellation request from the order page, selecting seats and giving a reason. The agency levels approve it against the operator's cancellation fee table; operators without a cancellation rule do not accept requests yet. The refund goes to the traveler's wallet.
Does an agency need its own OnePay account?
Yes. OnePay issues the integration account directly to the agency; Ferry VN does not issue it and only helps enter the connection parameters. The agency can also enable a fixed or percentage transaction fee, added to the order total.
